After decades in the wine industry, I still love what I do, and it shows. I have the same passion today that I had when I started, if not more.

Leslie is a “vine to wine” winemaker whose bailiwick is monitoring closely the entire evolution of wine, beginning in the vineyard. With a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science – Viticulture at Davis, she understands that the best wine starts with the right vineyard site along with skilled vineyard practices. The role of a winemaker is to shepherd the vineyard, while adding specific nuances in the winemaking process thereby, creating a unique winemaking style. 

After college, Leslie partook in a life changing thirteen-month global agricultural work program which included pruning vines on the steep slopes of Germany. She continued pursuing an exciting and purposeful life by getting married, starting a family and working at various large wineries including Chateau St. Jean and Rodney Strong and eventually, Kendall Jackson Winery. At Kendall Jackson, she thrived in a challenging, dynamic and growing, business environment while working her way up from lab technician to Pinot Noir Princess during her thirteen harvests. After spending most of her 20-year career working for large wineries, she was ready for the new role as a winemaking consultant. Since 2005, she has helped to establish several boutique premium wine brands ranging from the vast Sonoma Coast to Russian River Valley to Mendocino County.

Now it is her time to move forward with her brand and VINIFY!
